Tim: Yesterday I felt like throwing Jared out the window. That's okay, right? To throw the baby out the window?
Me: I suppose, but social services probably wouldn't see it that way.
Tim: If social services came and took Jared away, it would actually solve a lot of our problems.
Me: Then what was the point of having him?
Tim: To see if we could do it. Sometimes you fail at things.

I first did this drawing about a year and a half ago, and already the fashions are starting to look a little dated... I can never keep up.

Damn hipsters.

And now for something completely inspirational!

Yesterday's post was kind of depressing.

So today I thought I'd try something more motivational.

Watercolor. And gouache.

I made another art.

A lot of times I make a new art and look at it and think, "This is the best thing I've ever made!"

Then I leave it alone for a while, or look at it in a mirror, or scan it and look at it on a screen, and think, "... Meh."

It's so hard to know if the stuff I make is any good and I should keep trying, or if it's amateur and I "don't have it" and I should just focus on something else.

Am I too hard on myself? Or should I just keep making stuff and not give a crap if it's "good" or not?
